Димитър Списаревски

На 20 декември 1943 г. армада американски бомбардировачи Б-24 Либърейтър /"Освободител"/ се насочва да бомбардира за пореден път София. Димитър Списаревски е един от изтребителите на бойно дежурство на летище Божурище с Месершмит Ме-109G-2, които трябва да пресрещнат „освободителите“ преди да достигнат града.

Според бойния дневник на 3/6 изтребителен орляк, в който лети Списаревски, битката протича по следния начин: Либърейтърите летят към София в клинов строй по тройки, ешелонирани в тилна колона, краят на която се губи до хоризонта. Българите формират насрещен боен ред, ешелонирани поятно, по четворки в тилна колона. Летят срещу противниковите самолети на 6000 метра височина. Орлякът има задачата да завърже бой с противниковите изтребители, двутелите П-38 Лайтнинг, а в това време другият орляк — 2/6, да удари бомбардировачите и да ги принуди да хвърлят бомбите си извън София.

Самолетът на Списаревски не успява да стартира, затова той излита с резервна машина, със закъснение след другите. Това е първият му въздушен бой. Когато достига до бомбардировачите, въздушният бой вече е започнал. Списаревски се измъква от два американски изтребителя, насочва към група от 16 Либърейтъра и без да спре стрелбата се блъска във водаческата машина. Бомбардировачът е разцепен във въздуха, спасява се само опашният стрелец, който е изхвърлен заедно с картечниците от ударната вълна. Самолетът на Списаревски пада на височините над село Пасарел, Софийско. Тялото му е открито сред отломките. От другата страна на селото пада поразеният бомбардировач. За свалянето на един четиримоторен бомбардировач са му признати три въздушни победи. Има различни свидетелства за тарана, но единствен реален очевидец е пилотът на американски изтребител, който малко след това също е свален и пленен.

Димитър Списаревски е произведен посмъртно в чин капитан. Погребан е в Централните софийски гробища, Алеята на летците.

World Marks 30 Years without John Lennon

Music fans commemorate Wednesday John Lennon, the legendary Beatles frontman who was shot dead 30 years ago on that day.

Prominent Bulgarian actor, Andrey Batashov has passed away at 9:45 Monday morning, from multiple organ failure,

The new was announced by the Head of the Sofia Military Medical Academy, General-Major, Prof. Stoyan Tonev.

Batashov was born on December 10, 1965 in the city of Volgograd in Russia.

In 1989, he graduated from the National Academy of Theater and Film Art (NATFA) in Sofia. He taught directing and acting at NATFA since 1996.

In Loznitsa choose Miss and Mister Driver Trabant

For the seventh consecutive year the city hosts Loznitsa National Festival of Trabant. 50 owners of cardboard vehicles across the country have applied for participation in the forum - the chairman of Club Trabant "Sabi Sabev. The club and local community are organizing the event.

It starts at 10.00 pm today in the square in Loznica. There will be certain winners of nine prizes including best original for a Trabant, the most authentic, most tuned, best maintained and others. Among the drivers will be set "Miss and Mister Driver Trabant.

With a procession through the streets of Loznitsa participants in the fair will focus on the locality Kashla, where competitions will be held in master control. There will be three sets of cups served.

Incident brawl and shooting involving at least 20-something people became early this morning between villages of Upper and lower Tsibar, Montana, learn Darik.

According to the version of both players, the cause of the incident was attempted robbery of the owner of a discotheque at Kozloduy, which traveled by car "Volvo" to her husband, a city located Valchedram. Orthodox Church celebrates Holy Spirit

Feast of Holy Spirit is associated with a sense of celebration of Pentecost and is marked on Monday. On that day the Church celebrates the life-giving Holy Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, who have equal dignity Bozhesko. Holy Spirit gives life to creatures and holy people and human bodies. His image is a virtual pigeon.

Holy Spirit is celebrated on the fifty-first day after Easter. These celebrations originated Mermaid Sunday. Bulgarians believe that the Holy Thursday to Holy Spirit all the dead souls are free - on the ground. They usually stay in the flowers and trees, with a walnut tempt them to assemble on that day.
