in memory of the Bulgarian soldiers and officers

Today we celebrate the memory of the Martyr St. George, one of the most revered saints in the country since the Christianization of the Bulgarians before 11 centuries. St. George is the few saints and glorious as revered by Christians and Muslims. The holiday is celebrated as the Day of Courage and the Day of Bulgarian Army.
